Hiroshima Bound

56 min., 2015

This personal documentary tracks the construction of America’s collective memory of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and my own efforts as a visual artist to understand my relation to the Bomb, following the complex┬áhistories of specific images and image makers, both Japanese and American, as they intertwine with the stories of survivors and my own legacy as a child of the Atomic Age.
